Major Issues Raised by AIS

  1. AIS has started the journey by addressing the major issues the students faced during the Covid-19 pandemic. The letter was addressed to Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Hon'ble Education Minister. AIS has suggested the best solution for the problems.

  2. AIS has requested Shri. Amit Shah, Hon'ble Home Minister to restore the internet connection in the Jammu and Kashmir. Internet was the need of the students at the time of the pandemic because the education system has moved to online mode and the students of J&K were not able to study.

  4. AIS has requested Shri. Ravi Shankar Prasad, Hon'ble IT Minister for providing the benefit of the Bharat Net Project scheme run by the Government. The extension of the scheme for the students will have the student from rural areas get a better internet connection so that they can take an online class.

  5. AIS has sent a letter to all the Universities for ensuring the constitution of the Internal Complaint Committee. It is a mandate to establish an ICC for the resolution of the complaints filed by the students. AIS received a positive response and most of universities have already established an ICC.

  6. AIS has addressed a letter to the Vice-Chancellor, CCS University, Meerut to conduct a special examination for the students. The delegation has met the authorities in person and the authorities have assured the students that a special examination will be conducted.

  7. AIS has addressed a letter to Shri. Ramesh Pohkriyal Nishank, Hon'ble Education Minister to raise the issue of conducting examinations without prior notice. It has been observed that many universities are conducting examinations without proper notice.

  8. AIS has addressed a letter to the Admission Committee of Delhi University requesting the authorities to clear the state of ambiguity in the minds of students by issuing an official guidelines about the process of admission and the sanction of seats for the reserved categories.

  9. AIS has sent a letter to the Chairman, University Grant Commission informing about the wrongful charging of Rs. 6,000 as a fine for non-submission of the Migration Certificate. It is against the basic principles as Education is social work and any amount can not be charged by the university for non-submission of documents.

  10. AIS has sent a letter to the Vice-Chancellor, Lucknow University requesting for changing the pattern to subjective examination. Lucknow University changed the pattern to MCQ at the time of Covid-19. The change in pattern has caused a lot of damage to the students and many have failed examinations.
